About
Focused on one thing: IGCSE, taught properly online
We provide one-to-one online tutoring for IGCSE and International GCSE students — most of them at international schools across Europe — covering Cambridge and Edexcel specifications in more than twenty subjects.
Why we exist
Families at international schools face a particular problem: the IGCSE is a high-stakes, board-specific qualification, but much of the tutoring market treats it as generic “secondary maths” or “secondary science”. Content that the student's board never assesses gets taught; question styles and mark schemes that decide the grade get ignored.
We built this service around the opposite premise: the specification is the syllabus, the past papers are the training ground, and the mark scheme is the judge. Everything else — tutor selection, lesson planning, progress reporting — follows from that.
How we work
Board-specific or nothing
An IGCSE grade is earned against one specific syllabus and mark scheme. Teaching that isn’t anchored to the student’s exact specification wastes time — so ours always is.
Honesty over sales
We advise families the way we’d want to be advised: realistic targets, honest progress reports, and a straightforward “tutoring isn’t the answer here” when that’s the truth.
One student at a time
Every lesson is planned for one student’s gaps and goals. No group classes, no recycled slide decks, no pre-recorded content.
Specialists, matched carefully
Tutors teach the subjects they specialise in, for the board the student sits. The match considers level, personality and learning style — and we re-match without fuss.
IGCSE Tutoring is an independent tutoring service. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or acting on behalf of Cambridge International Education or Pearson Edexcel. “Cambridge IGCSE” and “Edexcel” are the trademarks of their respective owners and are used here to identify the qualifications we prepare students for.
