Terms of Service
Last updated: 17 August 2026 · Version 1.0
These terms govern your use of igcsetutoring.com and the tutoring enquiry and service relationship between you and TestPrep LLC.. Please read them together with our Privacy Policy.
1. About us
IGCSE Tutoring (igcsetutoring.com) is a website and brand operated by TestPrep LLC., whose registered office is at 777 NW 72nd Ave STE 1075, Miami, FL 33126, United States, with a regional office at Acıbadem, Acıbadem Cd. No: 188 D:1, 34660 Üsküdar / İstanbul, Türkiye. You can contact us at info@testprepeurope.com or +44 7782 207346.
2. Scope of these terms
These terms apply to your use of this website, to consultation enquiries, and to the tutoring services we provide. Where a specific written agreement is made for tutoring services (for example confirming lesson arrangements in writing), that agreement applies alongside these terms and takes precedence over them if there is any conflict.
3. Eligibility and students under 18
Many of our students are under 18. Where the student is a minor, the enquiry should be made — and any service agreement entered into — by a parent or guardian. The parent or guardian is responsible for:
- providing accurate information about the student and their learning needs;
- supervising the arrangement as appropriate for the student's age;
- communications and decisions relating to the tutoring service; and
- payment for services.
4. Enquiries, consultations and tutor matching
Submitting a consultation enquiry does not create a contract or oblige you to purchase anything. Following an enquiry, we discuss the student's needs and propose a tutor match. Tutor matching is carried out by our team, taking into account subject, exam board, level and goals. If the proposed tutor is not a good fit, we will propose an alternative where possible.
5. Tutoring services and scheduling
Tutoring is delivered one-to-one, live and online. Lesson times are agreed between you and the tutor. For online lessons you are responsible for having a suitable device, a stable internet connection and a quiet environment for the student. We will let you know in advance of any specific software the lessons require.
6. Student conduct and responsibilities
Students are expected to attend lessons punctually, engage with the work agreed with the tutor, and behave respectfully. Parents and guardians should support this — regular attendance and independent study between lessons are essential to progress. We reserve the right to end a lesson early, or decline further lessons, in cases of serious or repeated misconduct.
7. Fees, payments and cancellations
Fees, payment arrangements, and cancellation and rescheduling rules are confirmed in writing before the first paid lesson. Nothing on this website constitutes a binding price offer.
If payments are taken online through an external payment provider, that provider's processing terms will also apply, and we will identify the provider at the point of payment.
Nothing in these terms affects any statutory cancellation or refund rights you have under applicable consumer law.
8. Educational outcomes
Our tutoring is designed to support learning and exam preparation, and our tutors teach to the student's specific specification honestly and rigorously. Results, however, depend on many factors — including the student's participation, starting level, attendance, independent study and performance on the day of the exam. For that reason, no specific grade or examination result is promised or guaranteed.
9. Intellectual property
The content of this website — text, design, branding and original teaching materials where provided — belongs to TestPrep LLC. or its licensors. Teaching materials shared with a student are for that student's personal study use and may not be resold or redistributed. Third-party examination board names and marks belong to their respective owners.
10. Website content and acceptable use
Website content is provided for general information about our services; it is not professional advice for any specific situation. You agree not to misuse the website — including attempting to gain unauthorised access, interfering with its operation, scraping content for republication, or submitting forms with false, unlawful or abusive content.
11. Third-party services and exam boards
IGCSE Tutoring and TestPrep LLC. are an independent tutoring provider. We are not endorsed by, affiliated with or operated by Cambridge University Press & Assessment or Pearson. References to Cambridge IGCSE and Pearson Edexcel International GCSE describe the qualifications our tutoring supports; the names and marks belong to their respective owners.
12. Privacy
How we handle personal information — including student information — is explained in our Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy.
13. Service availability
We aim to keep the website available and lessons running as scheduled, but we do not promise uninterrupted availability of the website. If a lesson cannot take place because of a failure on our side, we will reschedule it.
14. Liability
We are responsible for foreseeable loss or damage caused by our breach of these terms or our negligence. We are not responsible for losses that were not foreseeable, losses not caused by our breach, or business losses.
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited — including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or any rights you have under applicable consumer law that cannot be waived.
15. Suspension, termination and changes
Either party may end an ongoing tutoring arrangement in line with the arrangements confirmed in writing when the service began. We may suspend or end services where these terms are seriously breached. Events outside our reasonable control (such as infrastructure failures, natural events or other force majeure) may delay lessons; we will work with you to reschedule.
We may update our services and these terms from time to time. Material changes to these terms will be indicated by the “Last updated” date above, and continuing to use the service after a change takes effect constitutes acceptance of the updated terms — except where applicable law requires more, in which case we will follow the law.
16. Governing law and jurisdiction
These terms are governed by applicable law. If you are a consumer, you always retain any mandatory protections of the consumer law of the country where you live, and nothing in these terms deprives you of them.
